yes,  It's true.  I was on of the pitiful people waiting  for the release of Skyrim.  I sat there staring at my steam update screen,  Counting down the minutes until I would be able to click the "play" button.  I spent weeks combing through all the information I could.  I spent hours contemplating my character.  My wife spent hours of her precious time she will never get back listening to my excitement about the new addition to the elder scrolls.

After all that time, I only have one more word to day.

I purchased this game a week ago and all I have to say is, wow!

I never thought stabbing a guy in the knee with a three foot long chisel would be so much fun.  If  you truly want to feel like the coolest guy on the planet put down your current MMO and check out Deus Ex.

Bethesda,  in many respects the best adventure game creator on the planet is releasing Skyrim this year.  True it is a single player game, and it is hard to justify spending hundreds of hours in a universe and have no one to share it with.  But were MMO's fail Skyrim succeeds.

I'm a big sucker for creation and management games. Needless to say City building games have been on my list for decades. A fairly new company in the genre has emerged to bring some decent city building karma.

You would have to be living under a rock not to know that the next Starwars MMO is coming out, and coming out soon.

A few weeks ago they started selling pre release copies at a wopping 60 bucks. 

I guess for a game that costs (reportatly) 100 million dollars, a 60 dollar price tag is not bad.

Like the mighty Phoenix a great game has come back from the dead in the most unlikely places. Once unique, vibrant, and immersing, Star Wars Galaxies in its day delivered an open ended MMO like none other. Promising to let a player live and do what they want while being encircled by the great galactic civil war. Needless to say Sony and their developers killed this game by moving it’s style fundamentally in a different direction. The outcry was huge and a grassroots open source program is resurrecting this MMO in all its glory. The Project is called SWGEMU. After close to 5 years in development the program is entering its final stages.

Being a huge EVE Online fan boy I felt it appropriate to shout to the masses the new Game CCP is coming out with. It’s call Dust 514 and it is a FPS designed to interact with the EVE MMO universe.  There is no offical web site out yet.  But a fan site does exist with decent information.
